German High-tech in Jiangyin

Flexible systems in top quality Since 2004, the Witzenmann Metal Products Co. Ltd. in Jiangyin has been producing flexible elements for automotive engineering. The subsidiary company of the German Witzenmann group was certified according to ISO TS 16949 as one of the first companies in China.

The state of the art production plant northwest of Shanghai is within reach of the most important production facilities in China. The young subsidiary company works for a lot of international vehicle manufacturers and their suppliers, including Volkswagen, GM, Hyundai, KIA, Chery, FAW-VW, Dong Feng, Arvin Meritor, Tenneco, Faurecia and Eberspächer.

In Jiangyin, Witzenmann in the first place produces flexible components for vehicle exhaust systems. These include, among other things, decoupling elements and hose lines. In passenger cars and commercial vehicles they compensate vibrations and movements of the exhaust system, increasing driving comfort and service life.

Since 2006, Witzenmann Metal Products Co. Ltd. is certified according to the international quality standard ISO TS 16949. Thus it belongs to one of the first industrial plants in China which fulfils the stringent requirements of this standard.

The demands of Witzenmann as a technology leader and development partner of this industry sector also become clear in the work of the Witzenmann Metal Products Co. Ltd.. In close cooperation with the parent company in Germany, tailor-made solutions are created for the international customers on site. With the continuous extension of local sales and engineering resources Witzenmann allows for the increasing importance of the Chinese market with regard to clients. Together with the team in the parent company, the subsidiary company in China organises technical seminars for its customers.
